We’re heading out to Northern Idaho in late June to take part in the Tatertot Recumbent rally along the Trail of the Cour d’Alenes.
Tater Tot is a very loosely organized event that assumes the participants have a sense of fun, adventure and whimsy. We strongly encourage you to learn as much about the event as possible before you commit to avoid any misunderstanding or disappointment. PLEASE READ THE DETAILS CAREFULLY:
***WE ARE ONLY PROVIDING TRIKE TRANSPORT*** Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements, and all expenses. Cosmic Bikes will provide transport of trikes to and from the event for those who want to participate, but don't want to make the cross-country drive on their own.
Cosmic Bikes is solely providing transport for the trikes, and is not in any way involved in the organizing or planning of the event itself, nor providing any other accommodations.
We will be leaving Chicago with our transport van on Thursday, June 18 and arriving in Kellogg on the evening of Saturday, June 20
We’ll depart Kellogg on the morning of Wednesday, June 24 and arrive back in Chicago on Friday, June 26.
The closest airport to Kellogg is Spokane, WA, which is about an hour away. We're assuming that anyone participating would be flying in and renting a car locally. Depending on the vehicle you rent, you may have your own trike transport on site. We can transport your trike to various riding points if needed, but you'd be a little less independent.
Here are the requirements:
The cost is $300 round-trip per trike (or other recumbent or bicycle)
We need firm commitment (including payment) by March 31, 2026 in order to lock in a vehicle and rates. Because of this, payments are non-refundable after March 31, 2026. Please consider your purchase carefully.
You must arrange to have the trike (or bike) you want us to transport at our location at Cosmic Bikes on or before Saturday, June 13, 2026. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please select the quantity for the number of trikes (or bikes) you need transported. Our van space is strictly limited, and availability is first-come, first-served.
