Welcome to Cranksgiving 2024

Saturday, November 16 from 10am to 1pm at Cosmic Bikes

Cranksgiving Chicago Chapter is ready to roll again in 2024!

Cranksgiving is a food & donation drive on two wheels, and it’s all about community. Every year, throughout the country, shops and individuals organize Cranksgiving events to help provide thousands of those in need with food during the holiday season.

  • All donations you purchase and deliver to us today will go to New Hope Community Pantry at 6125 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60630

  • Below is a wish list of items and a list of suggested locally-owned grocery stores and other local shopping resources. Everyone rides individually (or with your friends), so it is your choice which stores you decide to visit. Suggested budget for purchases is $20-25, but it is entirely up to you.

  • If you’re able to donate more, this year New Hope has specifically requested adult and children’s coats, gloves, mittens and hats to be distributed to families in need.

  • Registration and check-in for the event is from 10-11am at Cosmic Bikes. We’l have fresh coffee to get you started 😃.

  • Once you’ve purchased your items, you can drop them off at Cosmic bikes and warm up with home-made chili.

  • There will —of course— be some some photo-ops for the all-important social media.
