The ingenious Hase Pino is a tandem, recumbent and cargo bike
all rolled into one.
It might just be the most versatile bicycle ever invented. The adjustability and adaptability to various riding partners and their different needs is simply unmatched.
It features an upright captain position in the rear, and a recumbent stoker seat in the front. The front position is adjustable in length so that children as young as 5 and adults can ride in front. Adaptations —such as shortened or adjustable cranks, belts and harnesses, leg supports, and even a handcycle adaptation— can be added to support riders with a wide range of abilitites and special needs.
The unique configuration that places the riders’ heads close to each other, conversation is easy while riding. And the compressible, telescoping frame ensures that this full size tandem fits on any standard rear-mounted car rack.
Highly adjustable crank position accommodates riders as young as 5 to adult in the front stoker position.
The front cranks can be shortened, or outfitted with a variety of pedal modifications depending on rider needs.
Captain’s handlebars can be adjusted across three dimensions to optimize control, stability and rider ergonomics.
Besides carrying two riders, Hase Pino is capable of hauling significant loads thanks to a selection of purpose-designed cargo racks and bags.
Front stoker seat is height and tilt adjustable, and can be outfitted with a Vario cover for personalized comfort.
A heavy-duty double kickstand is available to facilitate getting riders and/or cargo on and off the bike.
