Standard Colors and Limited Editions

For each model year, Brompton unveils a selection of muted and more flamboyant colors for the C-Line, and a couple of color options for the P-Line and Brompton Electric. A-Line bikes are generally available in one basic color.

In addition to standard color choices Brompton offers a trademark lacquer finish which shows off the the quality and craftsmanship of the hand-brazed frame. The Lacquer finish has a unique appearance due to variations in the surface coloration of the metalwork and brazing. The look is somewhat industrial in appearance with natural variations between individual bikes. Lacquer finishes have been offered in in various tints, including Raw, Black, Flame and Emerald.

Throughout the year, Brompton may introduce limited-time colors, or Special Edition models that are often the result of collaborations with other well know brads, including Bear Grylls, Barbour, CHPT3 and others.

Unlike in years past, it is currently not possible to order a custom Brompton with personalized color combinations.

After-Market Accessories

There’s a whole industry of additional accessories and upgrades available for Brompton, including luggage, bells, grips, racks and more. Keep in mind that replacing components integral to the Brompton or the Brompton fold (for example, hinge clamps, seat pillars, suspension blocks, wheels, handlebars, etc.) voids the Brompton warranty in case of failure, so use your best judgment when replacing components on a any Brompton that is still within the warranty period.
