HAPPY HOUR are casual hands-on events or discussions that take place on Fridays from 5 to 7pm. BYOB and snacks if you like. Drop-ins are welcome, but we always appreciate an RSVP for better planning.

For this informal workshop, we invite you to bring in your bike questions for the mechanic: Why do your brakes squeal? Why won’t your bike stay in gear? Will fatter tires prevent flats, and can you fit them on your bike? How do you get the right amount of air into the tires? What is some basic maintenance you can do on your bike? Can you raise or your handlebars to sit higher or lower? Etc, etc.

You can bring us general questions, or ones specifically related you your bike (In this case, we encourage you to bring it with you.) Though this will not be the time to perform specific repairs, we can help diagnose problems, let you know what’s possible, and advise you on potential cost and feasibility of repairs or conversions.

NOTE: This is an entry-level workshop will be focusing on non-electric bicycles with manual shifting.
