Shop Talk: An Evening with Brompton

Blue Line.jpg

Join us for the inaugural session of Shop Talk, an informal monthly series, during which we’ll go into a selected topic at some depth in a relaxed, social atmosphere.

This month’s focus is Brompton, our favorite folding bike. Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re a Brompton owner, Brompton curious, or even if you’ve never heard of Bromptons, but are perhaps intrigued by supremely practical engineering wonders.

This evening’s topics will include demonstration of the Brompton’s unique fold, and an explanation of its benefits and best applications. We’ll go over and help make sense the various customization options. If you’re Brompton curious, you’ll have a chance to chat with some current Brompton owners about their experiences.

We’ll also give you a sneak peek at (and a chance to pre-order!) the all-new, semi-custom “Blue Line” Brompton, a great way to enhance your multi-modal commute, and show your NW Side colors.

For those interested in a more in-depth Brompton experience, we’ll screen “The History of Brompton Bicycle”, a documentary about the bike’s intrepid inventor and engineer Andrew Ritchie.

This event is free. Snacks and some beverages will be on hand, but feel free to BYOB.
