Want to see fun musical theater and support a very talented group of teen actors? Ride with us to see "The Wedding Singer" presented by the Actors Training Center.
This musical takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. It's 1985, and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.
The Wall Street Shark is played by the youngest member of the Cosmic Bikes family, our very own Everis Stodder, so naturally we want to make sure that the young performers get a great house on their opening night. The ride is FREE, but tickets for the play ate $15 and can be purchased online here.
Meet at Cosmic Bikes at 6:00pm for a prompt 6:15pm departure for The Edge Theater at 5451 N. Broadway.
Route: Approx. 14 miles round trip via neighborhood streets.
What to bring: Your bike, helmet, lights, and lock.
We recommend you purchase tickets online in advance, as shows can to sell out on the day of the performance.
